Sam was born in 1987 and was brought up in a small town in South Wales called Ebbw Vale.  Sam was constantly surrounded by music as a child being the niece of Edward Byles of the London National Opera; Sam has always been inspired by his success.

As a child Sam was a member of Blaenau Gwent Young Start, a local musical and drama group.  Sam starred in musicals such as Oliver, Grease and The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe.  She also participated in musicals at school where she also starred in musicals such as Fame, and the Fiddler on the Roof.

At school Sam was heavily involved in Sport, which later led her into completing her degree in sport.  Despite concentrating her academic efforts on Sport, Sam always had music near by.  Having taught herself to play the guitar at the age of 14, she was always able to keep music close by, and found that playing guitar and singing was especially useful when singing at social events at university.

At university Sam performed for various different agencies throughout South Wales at a wide variety of Social Clubs and Pubs.  University gave Same the freedom of experimenting with different types of music and teamed up with a promotional company to get gigs and showcases.  In 2007 Sam participated in Coast Idol.  Being the only "welsh girl" out of the finalist Sam managed to come fifth.

Sam has now decided to concentrate all of her efforts on singing and performing. She is avaliable through most major agencies in Wales, and is hoping for more work in England and Cross Chanel.
